We are based in the beautiful town of Berry
Tell us about it and why people love it so much?
Our homes are designed by award winning architect Vic Lake and interiors are by the super talented Simone Mathews from Soul Home. The reason guests love them is because they are specifically designed for short term rental accommodation and offer high quality and luxury experiences at affordable price points. Guests love the hotel quality beds and specially sourced linen, they love the fully equipped kitchens and BBQ areas, the pools, the views and the Concierge experience they recieve from Karly our Manager and partner. It’s all about the attention to detail.
Give us some examples of what makes your business unique?
The deconstructed hotel concept is unique. It’s not just your typical holiday home..Guests are spoilt for choice and can experience many things a 5 star hotel can offer, but in a unique way. They can upgrade or choose between 7 homes and soon to be 9 homes or they can call a Concierge, and have pretty much any request serviced. Guests have access to pools, a sauna, organic veggie gardens, an orchard, olive grove, farm fresh eggs from shnooks and his hens, pizza oven and Argentinian bbq, open fire places, picnic spots, meditation hut, the list goes on. But most importantly, they are not limited to the confines of just a room and surrounded by strangers; They have the privacy of a home and its grounds + the added convenience of the locations and position to Berry town, being no longer than a 5 minute drive or as close as a 2 minute walk. And of course we have an onsite restaurant/cooking school and commercial space which adds to that experience to offer another range of services and possibilities for corporate retreats and the like. We have a full time, all local team, for maintenance, gardening, cleaning, management + more, to ensure the properties are always kept to the highest standard.
You have so many great reviews whats your secret?
The Guest is most important to us. We give karly full authority, to ensure the Guest experience is as close to what we advertise and that is “expect extraordinary “. Photos do not do these properties justice and I think guests arrive at our houses, especially Linnaeus farm and are absolutely blown away by the instant calm you feel on arrival and the love that goes into the maintenance. Then of course, Karly supports them before, during and after their stay to a extremely high standard.
Why do you love being part of South Coast Experiences?
We love collaborating with, supporting and dealing with local businesses like south coast experiences. Not only do south coast experiences support and promote our business, but they do so much good for the region and Berry itself and we want to be a part of that growth and positively.
Any plans or announcements you would like to share?
We are working on some very exciting plans for our restaurant space at far meadow cottage, which we will be announcing shortly. We can’t wait to share these plans with everyone! And of course keep an eye out for our latest offering at RUBUS , three stunning homes , walking distance from town + a project commencing soon right in the heart of berry called PAPILIO. Theres a lot going on 🙂
