Surrounded by 14 white sand beaches, the most obvious to find being Warrain Beach and Abrahams Bosom beach. Currarong is famous for its rock pools and fishing. If you see tractors outside the beaches cottages they are ready to take the tinny down to the boat ramp and get out for a morning fish. Close by to the town are protected beaches such as Long Beach, Cabbage Tree Beach and the horse-shoe shape of Honeymoon Bay. One of the few places in NSW where you can sit on a north west facing beach looking at mountains across the water, and watch the sunset over the ocean. Learn to surf and have a sea kayak whilst enjoying the quiet and nature around you.
