Currarong

Currarong is surrounded by 14 white sand beaches, famous for its rock pools and fishing. The most obvious beaches to find are Warrain Beach and Abrahams Bosom beach, but there are plenty of others to explore, including protected beaches like Long Beach, Cabbage Tree Beach and the horse-shoe shape of Honeymoon Bay. If you see tractors outside the beaches cottages, they are ready to take the tinny down to the boat ramp and get out for a morning fish. Currarong is one of the few places in NSW where you can sit on a north-west facing beach looking at mountains across the water, as you watch the sunset over the ocean. Learn to surf and have a sea kayak while enjoying the quiet and nature around you.
