Gerroa is a small seaside hamlet just next door to Gerringong. It is known worldwide for its sunsets across the beach, a great spot to pop the bubbles and have a sunset picnic. Gerroa beach is a great place to begin surfing and being very much a family beach it is a great family getaway. Kite surfing is also a popular past time on the beach and hiring a beach bicycle is always fun. Blackhead Reserve is located on the north side of the headland and with tracks down to a rock platform it is a great fishing spot.
