Kangaroo Valley

A place of nature and wonder at every turn it is said wherever you stand in this true valley you experience a wonderful view! Unique in it being a true valley, it is said to be one of only seven enclosed valleys in the world. Iridescent green hills and dairy land with the rich oranges and reds of the escarpment as the sun sets it is stunningly beautiful. Kayaking along the river is an amazing journey and with water holes scattered along the way it is a great way to experience the essence of the valley. Bushwalking, camping, and a town museum are all standard attractions. Wildlife is abundant and the historic Hampden Suspension Bridge is one to walk across and grab that picture for your socials. Our favourite places to visit are The General Cafe for breakfast into lunch, Caterina for the morning coffee and sweet or savoury muffins, The Friendly Inn hotel and beer garden, The lolly shop needs a visit for a treat and The Hive is where you go for some local artisan gifts.
