Gerringong

Gerringong has the rolling green hills to the sea. It is surrounded by dairy farms and vineyards. With Hamlets such as Rose Valley and Willowvale behind the town offering acreage and a country feel. The north end of Werri beach meets the Werri lagoon a great place for stand up paddle boarding and kayaking.  It is also the beginning, or end, of the Kiama Coastal Walk.  The beach is a well known surf spot with either south or north end usually offering a surf break for an experienced surfer. South end of the beach has the Ourie ocean pool and Gerringong Surf Club where you can grab a coffee or go next door for a meal at the Gerringong Bowling Club. The village is small with all needs met and plenty of dining spots. The local pub is still owned by football legend Paul Cronin and ‘Cronins pub’ is a great traditional small town hotel with a fantastic pub menu. Boat Harbour is a hidden spot with the boat harbour rock pool a great place to swim and snorkel. Fishing around boat harbour is a great option with the boat ramp making it accessible to get out to sea. A lovely park on the waters edge is a great place to picnic and barbecue. Our favourite places to visit are The Hill Bar and Kitchen for casual dining with a view and great bar offerings. The Little C for the morning coffee, Stoic Brewery for a beer tasting and tour, Ziba Lifestyle for some retail therapy!
