Shoalhaven Heads

Shoalhaven Heads is where the shoalhaven river meets the sea. A beautiful village that offers an array of birdlife and is known as a bird watchers paradise. With houseboats and sailing boats scattered across the river, Shoalhaven Heads is a natural wonderland. Comerong Island is across the river and home to a wonderful variety of Australian wildlife. Flat in its landscape makes Shoalhaven Heads a great place to bike ride and explore. The Bangalay Forrest is a wonderful coastal bush track to walk and with an 18 hole golf course and the vast seven mile beach it is a true escape. Beach Horseriding is a wonderful highlight at Shoalhaven Heads, a true bucket list experience. Shoalhaven Heads is surrounded by wineries and has lovely small botanic gardens to enjoy and picnic in. With Mount Coolangatta behind it and Berry a short drive away it is a great getaway to swim, sail, surf and enjoy the nature that surrounds it.
