Candles in the Valley was created from a love of craftsmanship and the joy of sharing the art of candle making. What began as a small creative project soon evolved into an inviting space where others can experience the same enjoyment of making their own candles and home fragrance products. Located in the peaceful suburb of Calderwood on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, our tranquil garden studio offers a welcoming space to slow down and unwind. Here, guests can handcraft their own candles, melts, and diffusers using high-quality ingredients and a wide range of fragrances. Each workshop is designed to be hands-on, relaxed, and rewarding — a chance to disconnect from the everyday and enjoy something truly special. Sessions can be fully catered, with refreshments and light bites served.

Host

Mandy and Andrew have been married for over 20 years and in business together for more than 25. Their shared passion for creativity and new ventures has taken them on many exciting journeys — and in 2022, that spirit of adventure led them to candle making. What began as a simple curiosity quickly became a true love affair with fragrance and design. Today, they pour that same enthusiasm into every workshop they host, sharing their knowledge and creating a warm, welcoming environment where guests can learn, laugh, and create. Together, they’ve transformed their Calderwood home studio into a beautiful and peaceful space that captures the essence of the South Coast lifestyle — relaxed, creative, and full of heart.
