Spring Foraging Weekend Sessions
WILD FORAGED GREENS AND BACKYARD SPRING FAVOURITES Spring is here and so are wild edible greens. Hunt for edible wild plants, learn about medicinal flora you can grow at home, taste and explore some backyard favourites plants from our very own local forager Jo from Quarter Acre Farm on a stunning private property in the Shoalhaven. Enjoy a wild tea infusion on arrival with an artisan Olive Oil & Olive tasting. Then, thanks to our friends at Kangaroo Valley Olives, we get to walk their beautiful property to find and harvest edible greens such as wood sorrel, plantains and flat weed. We will show you how to clean and prepare these before tasting in a poached chicken salad alongside some tasty delights from Jo’s Garden as well as Kangaroo Valley Vinaigrette.
