OpenField is a new multidisciplinary arts festival to be held in the South Coast town of Berry NSW in June 2023. Showcasing contemporary art in and around the town in unique spaces as well as performances, talks, live music and atmospheric events. Imagine a town and the spaces around it, the intersections, the narratives of place over time. Places for gathering, places for reflection. Streets which become the edge of paddocks. The presence of mountains, a long road through farms and forest to the sea. Change. An ancient landscape. An evolving town. The urban edge of country. New economies and historic farms. Old rituals loosened and reborn. New energies and technologies, the possibility of difference.
