About
This September, Australian Composer, Clarinettist, Teacher and former Four Winds Creative Director Paul Dean is coming back to Bermagui with his renowned Ensemble – just for us! Paul is a phenomenal talent, winning the 2022 Paul Lowin Orchestral Prize for ‘Symphony No 1, Black Summer’ and in early August won the 2023 APRA AMCOS Music Award for ‘Work of the Year – Large Ensemble’. Paul works alongside his equally brilliant partner, Cellist Trish Dean as co-Artistic Directors of group Ensemble Q whose mission is ‘virtuosic integrity and a dedication to the performance of undiscovered masterpieces’. Four Winds welcomes them, alongside Adam Al-Chalabi (violin) and Daniel de Borah (piano) to the Windsong Pavilion for an afternoon celebrating the power and pleasure of music in nature.
