Join Gumaraa and Sevenmarks Gallery in celebration of NAIDOC Week this July to learn about significant Indigenous cultural tools, songs and dances. This hands on workshop aims to introduce the Emu caller / Clapsticks and their traditional uses to children. They will learn the meanings of these tools and how Indigenous ancestors used them in everyday life and ceremonies. Participants will learn how to use the instruments and will have the opportunity to paint and play their own to take home with them. Suitable for ages 6 – 14 Years
