basket weaving is one of the oldest forms of functional art. throughout the millennia, basketry has been important to many global cultures for spiritual, functional and aesthetic purposes and is still just as relevant today. every time we sit and weave together, it is an opportunity to sit with our ancestors, to re-weave our connections and to learn some of these ancient skills. we are looking forward to sharing and weaving with you. this 3 hour woven circle experience includes weaving skills, starter kits of materials & delicious nourishment (food and drink) - most suited to people aged 16yrs and over, younger participants must be accompanied by an adult to register or make an enquiry connect via our website - If possible bring a cushion / shawl for extra comfort
